Ruana

Pattern: Knit Ruana GU420 by Oat Couture
Yarn: Nero Kureyon Sock Yarn/Rowan Kidsilk Haze

I WAS on yarn restrictions, I WAS, until that fateful visit to Bowling Green, Ky. I was planing on running into Crafty Hand and looking for some peach alpaca…doesn’t exist, but that’s another story. So before I can leave, this pattern jumps off the rack and SCREAMS my name. Then Starla (the owner) says…"oh did you see this made up with the Noro Kureyon Sock and Kidsilk Haze", and whips out a finished ruana in these incredible strips, and a photo of about 10 knitters wearing theirs. There’s always a bunch of knitters at this place working on something, it’s such a cool place, if I lived in Bowling Green, I’d live at this yarn shop. There was at least 8 women working on mitered scarves at 10 AM and the store had just opened. I know ‘cuse I was in the parking lot waiting for them to unlock the door! So long story short-I’m making a Ruana-photo’s to follow…
Finished!!! March 29!
