6/29/10 Cast on and bind off. Easy pattern!!!

Had to start my decrease rounds at 7” instead of 12” since I was running out of yarn.

The yarn was one of my ‘goodies’ from the Knitter’s Connection in Columbus OH.

Bed Jacket

4/4/10 Spent last night winding into balls from skeins. Ready to cast on.

4/15/10 Finished the back.

4/23/10 Body finished, working on collar. The pattern never says anything at all about how to attach the collar.

4/25/10 Started the edging, OMG, this will never end.

5/8/10 Blocked cardi & collar, still trudging throught the edging ....

5/31/10 Sewed the edging onto the cardi last night, still knitting the edging for the sleeves and have to do the icord tie. SOOOO ready for this to be finished.

6/6/10 FINISHED!!!!

If I could give you any advise on this, it would be to knit the edge and when you think you are getting close to the length (mine was about 6 feet I think) start running life lines at the end of each chart repeat.

When you block the edging, which you must do, you'll get more length, and realize that now the edging is too long and you'll need to rip back.

Wish I had run the life lines myself.

5/17/10 IT”S HERE!!! Cast on! Am modifying pattern stitich for toeup/shortrow heels so that I can use every inch of this great yarn.

5/25/10 turning the heels….

5/31/10 creeping up the calves, they are very loose due to the stitch pattern, hope the ribbing will hold them up, or they will be very slouchy socks.

6/20/10 Finished!!!

5/17/10 Casting on, love this pattern! I’ve used it before. Measure the head, measure your gauge, and then KNIT ON!!! Good basic pattern to modify for charts, stitch patterns, anything you want to do to a hat, this pattern is your starting point.

3/14/10 Back finished and front started, flying through this. Simply pattern, great tv knitting. Does look little large, I read some Ravelry post that stated the sizing was a little large so I’m making the Med size.

3/17/10 Cast on the sleeves today. 4/3/10 Finished!!!!
